For their next match, Chiefs will be on the long flight to Cairo, Egypt, from where they will then be on the road for the hour-and-a-half drive to the seaport city of Suez. Al Masry currently sit fifth in the Egyptian Premier League standings, which has Zamalek in third, while ZESCO are in the bottom half back home. The Green Eagles are under their fourth coach this year in Nabil Kouki, having had Ali Maher, Anis Boujelbene, and the late Mimi Abdelrazek. Three of their last four matches have ended goalless. "I believe that it is not an easy draw," says Cedric Kaze, the Chiefs co-coach. "It is two very good Egyptian teams and as well against ZESCO. "We know what is at stake. "The first game is very important... it is an away game. "We need to go out there. "It is not like the preliminary stage, where you could maybe manage the first game to try and get to qualify in your home game. "We need to be on the front foot from our first game against Al Masry," says Kaze. The second group stage match for the Soweto giants will have them at home on November 30 against Zamalek.
