During the 2024/25 season, the 35-year-old veteran left back played a pivotal role in guiding Pirates to the CAF Champions League semi-finals and a Betway Premiership runners-up finish.
His performances have earned him a nomination for the 2025 Namibia Annual Sports Awards in the category of Professional Athlete of the Year.
Hotto will face stiff competition from Premier Soccer League's all-time top goal scorer, Shalulile, who continues to impress for Sundowns year after year.
Shasha, as Shalulile is fondly known, is chasing a record fourth Professional Athlete of the Year title, having previously won the award three times before Hotto claimed it last year.
