The Sea Robbers square up with Magesi in the Telkom Knockout quarter-finals on Tuesday, 28 October. Kickoff is at 19:30. Then there's a titanic tussle with champions Sundowns in the Betway Premiership on Saturday, 1 November at 15:30. Both matches will be aired on DStv Channel 202.
It seems clear now that there's a personal issue between prolific Pirates marksman Tshegofatso Mabasa and Bafana boss Hugo Broos. Evidence Makgopa is now a regular in Broos' squads, but 2023-2024 PSL Golden Boot winner Mabasa is out in the cold.
