Bafana Bafana's qualification for next year's FIFA World Cup will test the quality and character of the Betway Premiership players, according to a former Orlando Pirates star.
With Hugo Broos' charges having claimed qualification for the biggest sporting spectacle on earth, the fight for places in the squad is set to intensify, with players using what remains of the local football calendar this year to impress.

Notably, South Africa will also be jetting off to Morocco to participate in the Africa Cup of Nations, which gets underway on December 21.
"If a player is performing poorly, they will not be selected for the FIFA World Cup next year," observes Innocent Chikoya, sharing his thoughts with KickOff.com.
"Remember, everyone is now vying for a spot in the World Cup squad. To make the team, you have to work hard and perform at a high level.
"If you do not play well for your club every time you step onto the field, you will not be chosen for the World Cup.

"From now on, every game will feel like a final for the players.
"There is a place in the World Cup and the AFCON finals at stake. This is a chance to shine in the league, the Carling Knockout, and the Nedbank Cup, and the ultimate reward is a World Cup call-up."
