Zimbabwean Premier Soccer League newcomers Scottland FC have claimed the 2025 title in their maiden season in the country's top flight.
The side managed to clinch the league with two matches remaining, having built an unassailable lead.
Backed by significant financial investment, the club achieved the feat with a star-studded squad featuring some of Zimbabwe's top players, including Terrence Dzvukamanja, Billiat, Musona, and his brother Walter Musona.
Having delivered silverware, Scottland's players and staff have been handsomely rewarded by prominent businessman Wicknell Chivayo.
According to Nehanda Radio, Chivayo pledged: "In recognition of this massive, history-breaking achievement and for your exemplary leadership and passion for the game of football, I invite the team captain and the team manager to come and see me personally on Saturday to collect US$250,000 as a small token of my appreciation and to share it with the entire team, the coach, and the technical staff.

"This is a well-deserved victory and an early Christmas gift to you."
Reports in Zimbabwe further suggest that more bonuses could be on the way for Musona & Co.
