How Nedbank Cup Qualification Works
The Nedbank Cup is South African football's open knockout cup - entry is not limited to the Betway Premiership. National First Division and regional ABC Motsepe League clubs take part alongside every Premiership side. The early rounds are single-match knockouts (the exact number of preliminary rounds has varied by season - a Round of 64 was added in 2025/2026) working down through the Round of 32, Round of 16, quarter-finals and semi-finals to a single-match final.
