Comitis spoke to KickOff.com about City's challenges in the league.
"It's been a tough start, but we've been building the blocks. We're gonna see a different string of results in the next few games," Comitis told KickOff.com.
"There hasn't been a team that we haven't outplayed this season. We should just convert the chances that we create. We're now a little bit direct as we had to adjust the way we approached the game because ultimately, in this league, only the results count.
"The challenge to win automatic promotion is still on. We still have 23 games (to play), which is a lot.
"I don't see any team far ahead of the other teams, to be honest. They all have strengths, and they all have weaknesses.

"I don't see consistency.
"If we take it game by game, we should be close enough for a spot in the top three. Perhaps the experience of the NFD [National First Division, known as the Motsepe Foundation Championship] is something we underestimated," explained the club boss.
Cape Town City have a home fixture against The Bees up next, on Saturday at 15:30.
