BULAWAYO - Highlanders midfielder Mason Mushore and Ngezi Platinum Stars striker Takunda Benhura have completed moves to South Africa's Betway Premiership outfit AmaZulu, Nehanda Radio has established.
According to reliable sources close to the negotiations, both players have each signed two-year contracts with the Durban-based club.
"Yes, Mason (Mushore) and Takunda (Benhura) have both signed for AmaZulu," the source told Nehanda Radio.
The duo is expected to officially link up with Usuthu in January 2026.
The two players' arrival will add further Zimbabwean flavour to the AmaZulu squad, which already includes Thandolwenkosi Ngwenya, who joined the club earlier in June 2025.
Their addition reflects AmaZulu's growing confidence in Zimbabwean football talent.
AmaZulu officials are yet to make a formal announcement, but sources close to the club confirmed that both Mushore and Benhura signed contracts.
The duo is expected to join the rest of the squad once the move is finalised in January.
If the transfers proceed as planned, Mushore and Benhura will become the latest in a long line of Zimbabwean players to ply their trade in South Africa's top flight league, following in the footsteps of Khama Billiat, Willard Katsande and Tapuwa Kapini who also played for AmaZulu.
